Art Tatum
in the Movie Ray

2004 Academy Award Nominated film “Ray”. Director Taylor Hackford

Vocalist

A fixture on the World's Premier
Jazz Cruise
Whether it is playing Art Tatum in "Ray" or playing piano like

Mr. O'Neal's rendition of
''Love for Sale'' was characteristic of a methodical
approach that made each song a confident musical arc,
encompassing stride and boogie-woogie variations and
peaking in agitated Errol Garnerish right-handed chord
clusters. N.Y. Times
- At 19, Johnny made his first recording
